DNS Hosting
Ordering this service will give you a DNS Hosting plan which will let you manage your DNS Records
For DNS Hosting you will require a Domain, Should you not have an existing Domain you may proceed to Registering a new one while ordering DNS Hosting
After pressing Order on DNS Hosting you will be prompted to select between the following options
- Register a new domain - Creates a new Domain Hosting Subscription with BMIT Technologies
- Transfer your domain from another registrar - Transfers your Domain from another vendor to be hosted by BMIT Technologies
- I will use my existing domain and update my nameservers - Will not transfer your Domain over to BMIT Technologies but requires nameservers to be updated on the vendor side
Note
Transfering a domain over to BMIT Technologies requires an EPP Code / Authorization Code which is obtained from your current registrar
Web Hosting
For Web Hosting you will require a Domain, Should you not have an existing Domain you may proceed to Registering a new one while ordering Web Hosting
After pressing Order on Web Hosting you will be prompted to select between the following options
- Register a new domain - Creates a new Domain Hosting Subscription with BMIT Technologies
- Transfer your domain from another registrar - Transfers your Domain from another vendor to be hosted by BMIT Technologies
- I will use my existing domain and update my nameservers - Will not transfer your Domain over to BMIT Technologies but requires nameservers to be updated on the vendor side
Once the appropriate option is chosen for your business needs you may add an SSL Certificate to your shopping cart which can be used to make your website secure and use HTTPS:// rather than HTTP://
